OMIC R&D was founded by seven forward-thinking manufacturers united by a shared vision: collaborative applied manufacturing that works directly with manufacturers to address real-world challenges, enabling them to navigate the complexities of production and seize emerging opportunities.
Today, OMIC R&D boasts a diverse membership of over 40 organizations spanning the United States and beyond. Our network includes three distinguished Oregon universities, which contribute their cutting-edge research capabilities and state-of-the-art laboratories to our initiatives. Additionally, our consortium encompasses manufacturing companies across the entire production spectrum. From alloy suppliers and coolant/lubricant producers to innovators in CAD/CAM software, along with manufacturers of cutting tools and machine tools, our members play pivotal roles in shaping the manufacturing process. We are also proud to include some of the world’s leading end product manufacturers among our ranks, highlighting the breadth and depth of our collaborative efforts in advancing manufacturing excellence.
