Josh Koch’s journey with OMIC R&D began at the ground floor as its very first employee, marking the start of an illustrious career that would see him become a cornerstone of the organization’s growth and development. Before his tenure at OMIC R&D, Josh honed his skills as a machine operator at Boeing, a role that laid the foundation for his deep understanding of machine operations and their potential for innovation.

Transitioning to OMIC R&D, Josh took on the role of Machine Solutions Researcher, becoming the first individual to occupy this position on-site. His expertise and vision were crucial in the early days, setting the stage for the organization’s direction and focus. Josh’s ability to navigate the complex interplay between technical prowess and research innovation led him to ascend to the role of Business Solutions Manager.

His leadership in establishing the Additive Innovation Center stands out as a testament to his forward-thinking and commitment to bridging the gap between industry needs and research capabilities. Through his efforts, OMIC R&D has not only enhanced its capacity for innovation but also solidified its position as a vital link between academic research and industrial application
