Boeing is the world’s largest aerospace company and leading original equipment manufacturer of commercial aviation, aerospace, defense, and security systems, and America’s biggest manufacturing exporter. Products include commercial and military aircraft, satellites, weapons, electronic and defense systems, launch systems, advanced information and communication systems, and performance-based logistics and training. Boeing acquired Rockwell North America in 1996 and merged with McDonnell Douglas in 1997. Over 100 years old and founded in Seattle Washington, USA, Boeing has 174,225 employees, 140,000 of those in the US.
