The OMIC R&D Facilities Associate serves as either primary or secondary liaison with the building owner, property manager, machine vendors and contractors, and will assist the OMIC Facilities Manager in all aspects of facility upkeep, maintenance, improvement, safety and security, grounds, and equipment at the Scappoose campus. The successful candidate will provide direct support to the OMIC Facilities Manager and other employees at OMIC to maintain day to day operations. The candidate will have strong customer service skills, ability to build rapport with diverse internal and external customers, a willingness to learn, and the ability to balance competing demands under tight timelines. The position is considered essential personnel and may be required to respond to campus emergencies, including inclement weather or other hazardous conditions.
