Nick Patton
Nick Patton joins Oregon Tech as a Facilities Associate at OMIC R&D. He received his BFA in illustration from Columbus College of Art and Design in 2005, and his MFA in Visual Studies from Pacific Northwest College of Art in 2015.
Nick worked as the manager of the sculpture facilities at Pacific Northwest College of Art from 2015 to 2022. During that time, Nick and his wife, Jenna, formed Tumblewheel Studios, a 501c3 nonprofit organization focusing on arts education. Through Tumblewheel Studios, Nick and Jenna have brought free arts education and community art projects to rural communities throughout Oregon and Montana. Nick has taught at Willamette University, Montana State University Billings, and Rocky Mountain College, but is happy to have found a real job.
Nick is excited to be back in Oregon with his family, where he can enjoy the scenic beauty of the Pacific Northwest, enjoy the world-class pinot noirs of the Willamette Valley, and work in a one-of-a-kind facility at OMIC R&D. When he is not working, Nick caters to the whims of his 4-year-old lord and master, Roland.
