Research Associate

Full time, 12 Months, $80,000 – 85,000
The successful candidate will be expected to conduct research related to additive manufacturing process development and mechanical characteristics studies. They will also be expected to develop an independent research agenda related to this topic. Duties include gathering, managing, analyzing, and reporting data in accordance with project goals, contributing to the dissemination of research findings, submitting funding proposals, and participating in long-term research planning. Machine Operator/Research Assistant

Full time, 12 Months, $50,000-60,000
The Machining Operator/Research Assistant supports manufacturing research at our world-class facility and will further develop skills in machine tool programming, operation, inspection, related lab equipment, and safety while working with industry members, university staff, faculty, and students. The successful candidate will be technically competent in areas of CNC machine operation and maintenance and have a unique opportunity to develop research skills, as well as assist with demonstrations, seminars and other education events.
